Music Ministries

First Christian Church has a rich history of providing quality musical opportunities for all ages.

The music ministry of First Christian strives to enrich the lives of the members of the choirs, the members of the church, and the visitors who worship with us through presenting the good news of the risen Christ through music.

We invite you to take part in any of the music ministry offerings below.

Sundays, September through May

            Chancel Ringers rehearse at 3pm, and play in service once a month. This group begins rehearsals on September 12 in Stratten Hall.

                4:15 p.m., Room 13: BLAST Choir for grades K-5. We sing, play instruments, use movement, and have FUN! This group begins rehearsals on September 12.               

 Wednesdays

     7:00 p.m., Stratten Hall: Chancel Choir for youth through adults. We sing in worship on Sunday at 10:45 a.m. and provide music for special services throughout the year except for mid July through mid August when the Chancel Choir is on vacation. Rehearsals began August 18.

Second Wednesday of each month

     6:00 p.m. Dinner in the Fellowship Hall: Join us for a time of food and fellowship, featuring a meal prepared by our resident chefs, JoBeth and Greg Mitchell. Cost is $5 per person, $15 per family. Our next Fellowship Dinner will be September 8.
